Alison Carmichael has launched a new range of Made by Alision Carmichael products. We had the honour of Printing her beautiful work.

The gift tags were inspired by Lewis Carrol's Alice In Wonderland story & were letter-pressed in a range of colours on a pristine white Colorplan
-

V&A Annual Review 2010/11

When starting out on the Generation Press journey there were certain aims and goals we strove for, printing the Annual Review for the V&A has to be one of those!
-
The Annual Review is the report and accounts of the charitable sector, and as such probably their most important print job of the year. Printing the Annual Review for arguably Britain’s greatest museum is a bit special and a real honor. Having earned the right after providing the V&A with consistently high quality work over the last couple of years, we were thrilled to be asked to work with their very talented in-house design team to create this prestigious piece of print.

After the concept of the book was agreed we set about making dummies to find the best way to produce the book. We tested numerous solutions and eventually found a machine manufacturer who could make us a special riveting machine. This enabled us to resolve the *elastic fixing to hold the book closed. From this point on, it's going to be affectionately known as the *Generation Band™ this gives the book its final and riveting finish (Sorry).

The combination of foil and Colorplan takes this multiplication table poster to an even higher level. The Proud studio's 'type' nerds have created this poster using a range of beautiful typefaces...

We think this multiplication table is a fantastic way of keeping the kids bedroom from looking like a branded festival of nonsense!

Podge: Stationery Set

Podge Podge Podge
I now have a good idea what Podge is all about! At it's heart is the wonderful Phil Jones whom I had the pleasure of meeting at a GF Smith event, this meeting set me on a really fun journey.
-
The Podge staionery is a full set - maintaining a very simple co-ordinated look across the range, using different processes throughout. One set of cards have a solid printed reverse, whilst another set has a Colorplan duplexed to the reverse. All items are bought together by a distinctive logo foiling. A very simple but beautiful set of stationery all printed foiled and made up with GF Smith papers.

As part of the this journey Phil Jones invited me to a very special design industry 'Podge' Lunch, which unbeknown to me has an extra special leaving gift:)

The design for the stationery was provided by the brilliant; Brilliant Path they also claimed their special The Podge hangover™ after leaving the Podge Lunch at the Arts Club in London's Mayfair.

Fallow Look-Book_Goodhood Store Launch – Falloween

We have just completed the Fallow SS11 Adapt or Die Look-book, exciting times for Fallow.

After all their hard work they are having their worldwide debut, its being hosted by the Goodhood store in Hoxton London. Goodhood will be previewing the denim collection and have a special event to celebrate:- FALLOWEEN! tomorrow Saturday 30th October see here.
