Alison Carmichael has launched a new range of Made by Alision Carmichael products. We had the honour of Printing her beautiful work.

The gift tags were inspired by Lewis Carrol’s Alice In Wonderland story & were letter-pressed in a range of colours on a pristine white Colorplan
-
A good excuse for a quote or two from Alice in Wonderland;

Generation Letterpress

For years we have dreamt of bringing letterpress printing in house, especially as my Grandfather and Great Grandfather were both compositors. With the craft of printing being so popular we have, for some time now, been getting the right equipment and the ideal set up in place.
-
At Generation Press printing is our livelihood, we have to view letterpress printing in the same way we do for litho or foil block printing, setting high standards to give our customers a letterpress solution.
-
Letterpress is very close to our hearts, it is part of our heritage and that heritage is in manufacturing. We look forward to being challenged by you with yet another print process we can offer.

GPis10 – Mailer

‘GP is 10′ is now off and running and the first lucky recipients are starting to receive their copies of our GP10 mailer!

Packaged in a specially designed/constructed mailing box (with our own Colorplan Barry™ duplexed to the inner). Inside is a wallet holding ten items featuring contributions from Build, Sanna Annukka, Timothy Saccenti & John O’Reilly

This is a gift from us to our customers who have supported us over the last ten years. We are very proud to have worked with Build, Sanna, Timothy & John on this project. This is also a testament to everyone here that has put the time and effort in to making all the pieces as good as they are.

This would not have been possible without the huge contribution of the creative’s involved, so a very big thank you to them!

Most important at this time is all the people that make up Generation Press. Every detail on this has seen everyone contribute and it is their skill and craftmanship that has made this what it is – A massive thank you to all at GP.

We were delighted for William & Son when they won the Royal Crest. These unusual circumstances led to one of the happiest reprints for everyone. This stationery had to be reprinted to include the Royal Crest – adding the finishing touch to this rather royal set.

Cranes Crest; Letterpress and embossed crest.
DL Envelope
Litho-print, die-cut and made up by hand.
Business Cards
Imperial Blue Buckram embossed Colorplan one side, with plain Pristine White Colorplan duplexed making 350gsm cards.
Letterpress, foil block, litho-print and duplexed.

This elegant number is from the rock and roll guys at Crush, We love it! Part of a set that really is beautiful from a bespoke watermark on the letterhead to the fluorescent pink letterpress logo, it’s a real mix of old and new to create something different!
